Most of the system functions do not seem to be supported by the TPS driver or I have not figured out the syntax for them!
But they’re were bought a couple of years ago by Softvelocity. There was alot to like, but getting data in and out of the program was a necessity for me, and Topspeed didn’t seem to make it easy. Mine worked daatbase without any UAC elevation maybe it matters where you install the browser.

Is it possible that the need for elevation stems from the folder being pointed claron by the DSN for the. It uses topspeed files when it creates a database. Maybe ODBC isn’t even necessary because Dbase is A5’s native file format and Clarion supports Dbase – you might be able to share the same database files between the two programs.
