We bought them after reading the HP documentation stating that they do, which is in fact wrong. So you are using a driver that CAN support GbE, but only when you have one of the chips that supports GbE in the family of chips that driver is made for. Welp, there’s his problem then, heh. The subreddit is only for support with tech issues.

However you are perfectly welcome to use cat6, cat6a, cat7 or cat7a. You need cat6 minimum realtek ethernet if you want to break into 10gbit speeds.
